Villa Specs

This beautiful, detached, spacious, luxury villa was built in 2005 to very high standard, in local stone, approx 200/300m from the sea. There are fabulous views across Kalkan Bay from all rooms. It is built on 3 levels with marble flooring throughout, full air conditioning, its own gated drive, and a discretely lit, stone-walled landscaped garden, with a glorious selection of flowering shrubs and trees, including hibiscus, jasmine, bougainvillea, honeysuckle, pomegranate and orange. Kalkan is a 90 minute drive from Dalaman Airport. Kalkan is also convenient for the coastal town of Fethiye which is less than 60 minutes away. Olu Deniz, with it's famous blue lagoon, is just a 50 minute drive.

Kalkan is surrounded by beautiful wooded mountain countryside. The views from the villa stretches for miles across the plain of Uzumlu. The location is suited to those who want to get away from the nightlife of the busy coastal resorts and who want to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of traditional Turkish rural life.

The villa is fully air conditioned. The six units can also be used for heating in the winter months. The villa maybe unsuitable for the less able bodied due to it's many steps and levels. The swimming pool is normally commissioned for use between 1st May until 31st October, unless by arrangement.

The villa is designed in two parts. The main house on the ground and second floor levels has a large open-plan reception area, kitchen, W/C, three double bedrooms, one en suite and one family bathroom. The lower level suite is accessed via stairs from the main reception area or via the garden. Here there is a large open-plan kitchen/reception area, twin bedroom and bathroom. There are two spare beds on this level (allowing a maximum occupancy of 10). The gorgeous garden surrounds the property and is a delight to be enjoyed from any of the balconies and terraces.

We'd like you to know that Villa Lydia is fitted with a 45kv electricity regulator - which is an absolute must in Turkey as the power supply can be very erratic. There is also a huge water tank as water cuts can occur. We also have a Yale alarm system for enhanced security and a large floor standing safe for your valuables. Please remember that our insurance does not cover guest's property or personal injury so do ensure you have adequate travel insurance.
